Urine & Saliva Sample Returns
Samples must be no more than 48 hours old on arrival at the clinic. Please refrigerate your samples if you are not returning them immediately in order to maximise freshness. Refrigeration is not essential however it does help the samples to last longer.
Samples are processed by our Lab Assistant on MONDAYS (all day) and WEDNESDAYS (until 2pm).
Please note that samples may be returned after hours by putting them into the safe deposit box next to our front door (the code is in your sample kit information).
To accommodate the above requirements, we recommend returning your samples on:
- Sunday (in hot weather please only leave after dark so they don’t get too hot in the metal deposit box)
- Monday (any time, but ideally prior to 2pm so they can be processed on the same day)
- Tuesday (any time)
- Wednesday (until 2pm)
Samples dropped off after 2pm on Wednesday and from Thursday to Saturday will unfortunately need to be discarded and redone.
In warm weather it is ideal to include a cold pack with your samples to maintain freshness. We recommend using Express Post to ensure your samples arrive within the required 48 hours.
To prevent leakage please ensure the tops of your syringes are securely fastened and the plastic bag is properly sealed.

If payment is required, a staff member will contact you by telephone to arrange payment by credit card. Alternatively you can pay in advance, either at the front desk or by depositing money into our bank account. Do not leave money in the safe.
Please note that payment is required before your samples are processed (this does not apply to clients on certain health programs, where the test is included as part of the program).
